During the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix announced several classic RPGs arriving digitally to Xbox Series X/S (and Windows PC): Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, Legend of Mana, and Trials of Mana.

The Mana games are also now on Xbox Game Pass.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster includes the first six Final Fantasy games. The remasters feature updated visuals, rearranged tracks, battle speeds, experience gain, and other quality of life improvements.

You can see where one of the biggest RPG series started. Final Fantasy 4 and 6 are still considered some of the best RPGs ever made. You can purchase the entire bundle of six games, or any game individually. The Final Fantasy games are rated T for Teen.

Trials of Mana is an HD remake of the third game in the action-RPG Mana series, which never released in the US until only a few years ago (via Collection of Mana). The remake of the 1995 original features three main heroes from a pool of six, changing how the game’s story unfolds.

Legend of Mana is a remaster of the fourth game in the series, originally released in 2000 on PlayStation. It’s different than the other games in the series, replacing a central main plot and world with one generated from the player as they explore.

The Mana games are rated T for Teen.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, and the Mana games are also available on Steam, Switch, and PlayStation 4.

Square Enix also announced Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is coming to Xbox on November 14. The remake of the 1988 classic has been rebuilt in the popular HD-2D style, a la Octopath Traveler. The style combines 2D sprites with 3D environments. The remake also new features, and a new Monster Wrangler vocation.

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D is available for pre-order. It’s rated E10+.
