This weekend Blizzard Entertainment returns to host their semiannual gaming convention BlizzCon as an in-person event for the first time since the 2020 pandemic.

To kick off the festivities for BlizzCon 2023, they launched freemium mobile game Warcraft Rumble on iOS and Android devices.

Warcrat Rumble is an action-strategy game that exists as an in-universe tabletop game in the Hearthstone tavern.

Players build their army by collecting miniature figures from the Warcraft universe, including powerful heroes like Jaina and Thrall, along with various troops and spells. Over 65 collectible minis are available at launch, through five different factions: Alliance, Beast, Blackrock, Horde, and Undead.

Through single player campaigns or competitive PvP, players play their heroes, troops, and spells onto the battlefield, while their heroes and troops handle moving, fighting, and capturing objectives.

The single player campaign features over 70 missions. Players can join forces with co-operative raids and dungeon crawls, join a Guild for more rewards, and battle each other through PvP.

Warcraft Rumble is the second mobile spin-off game by Blizzard Entrainment, following the release of Diablo Immortal in 2022.

BlizzCon 2023 will feature a concert by K-Pop band LE SSERAFIM, a new hero reveal for Overwatch 2, and more news to be revealed. It runs this weekend from November 3-4 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
