Square Enix has revealed the pre-order bonuses and Deluxe Edition goodies for upcoming action-RPG Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai. It’s launching September 28 on PC (Steam, Windows Store), PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox ($59.99).

Pre-orders of any edition will receive a special outfit for Dai: “Legendary Hero,” and early access to the Bond Memory, “The Hero’s Tutor,” which provides bonus XP.

The Digital Deluxe Edition ($64.99) also includes the following cosmetic items:

  • Popp’s special outfit: “Legendary Mage.”
  • Maam’s special outfits: “Legendary Priest” and “Legendary Martial Artist.”
  • Hyunckel’s special outfit: “Legendary Swordsman” and “Legendary Warrior.”

Infinity Strash is based on the manga and anime, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, which is obviously based on the Dragon Quest RPG series. A game based on a comic based on a game!

In the game you’ll play as Dai and the Disciples of Avan as they battle against the Dark Lord and his armies.

Story mode tells the story up to episode 41 of the anime. At any time, you can delve into the Temple of Recollection, a massive, repeatable dungeon full of increasingly challenging monsters and enticing loot.

By unlocking Bond Memories, you can relive scenes from the manga, and equip them to gain new and enhanced abilities.

You don’t have to be a fan of the anime to enjoy the game, but fans will recognize certain boss monster commanders, such as Beast King Crocodine and Shadow Vizier Mystvearn.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is rated T for Teen. A mobile game based on the anime, Dragon’s Quest: The Adventure of Dai A Hero’s Bonds, is also available.
