At Evolution Championship Series 2023, Capcom announced a collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Starting August 8th, Street Fighter players will be able to apply Turtles branded gear to their custom avatars (including completely transforming into one of the turtles), as well as adding new titles, chat stamps and emotes, and wallpaper frames.

So, no, the Ninja Turtles aren’t being officially added to the roster as playable fighters. But at least you can dress up as one? Custom avatars are available in Battle Hub and World tour game modes.

Hey Capcom, maybe we can get a Ninja Turtles fighting game?

The collaboration comes on the heels of the release of the new TMNT movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem from Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, and Point Grey Productions.

Capcom also showed off the second post-launch DLC fighter, A.K.I. A.K.I. will arrive as the 20th playable fighter later this fall. The rest of the first season of DLC fighters include Akuma next Spring, and Ed in Winter 2024.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Xbox. It’s rated T for Teen.
