The first DLC character coming to Street Fighter 6 is a familiar face to veterans of Street Fighter 5. Arabian fighter Rashid of the Turbulent Winds will drop in on July 24 as the 19th playable character in the game.

In addition to the Fighting Ground and Battle Hub, Rashid will also appear in the World Tour story mode as a Master. Players can apply his wind-based moves to their customized avatar.

Rashid is light on his feet, utilizing parkour-like moves and summoning miniature wind storms.

Arabian Cyclone is a spinning kick that sets up a whirlwind that can chain into other moves.

Rashid’s Level 1 Super Art is a flying kick upward. Level 2 unleashes a whirlwind projectile. Rashid’s ultimate Level 3 Super Art conjures a tempest to lift opponents (and himself) into the air, where he can pummel them into submission.

Rashid is the first of the Year 1 Character Pass, which is also included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Street Fighter 6. The in-game Fighting Pass offers a one-hour rental, where players can try out Rashid, as well as explore new gear, emotes, music and more.

The other DLC fighters still to arrive in Year 1 are A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Xbox. It’s rated T for Teen.
