Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is releasing February 16, but you can download the demo now on the PlayStation and Switch digital shops.

The demo features 30 songs from the Final Fantasy series, including the following tracks:

  • “Opening – Bombing Mission” (Final Fantasy 7)
  • “Blinded By Light” (Final Fantasy 13)
  • “Torn from the Heavens” (Final Fantasy 14)
  • “Apocalypsis Noctics” (Final Fantasy 15)

Any progress made during the demo will carry over to the full release. The full tracklist for the demo can be seen in the image above (my favorite, FF6, got totally snubbed!).

The full game will feature 385 tracks from Final Fantasy games over the years, as well as over 100 Final Fantasy characters. As with the previous Theatrhythm games, Final Bar Line combines classic 2D JRPG gameplay with a rhythm game, hitting notes in time to perform attacks and explore the world.

Final Bar Line will support local and online multiplayer across three different game modes.

Final Bar Line is the third game in the series, which began on Nintendo 3DS in 2012 (or fourth, if you include the Dragon Quest spin-off). It’s the first game in the series designed for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.

The Deluxe Editions will include music from other Square Enix games, such as NieR, Live A Live, and Octopath Traveler, as well as post-launch season pass content.

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line will launch on February 16 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders will receive 15 ProfiCards. It’s rated T for Teen.
