After being announced two years ago, we finally have a release date for Disney Mirrorverse. Disney and developer Kabam will release mobile action-RPG Disney Mirrorverse on June 23, on iOS and Android mobile platforms.
If you can’t tell by the title, Disney Mirrorverse takes place in a separate universe that pulls together the heroes and villains of the Disney and Pixar films and series. These characters have been transformed into combat-ready Guardians, gaining fancy new weapons, armor, and magic. They’ll need ’em to battle against the Fractured, a new enemy that threatens to destroy all the worlds.
Mirrorverse features real-time action combat as players battle with their Guardians against the Fractured in random dungeons, or versus other players. Players collect Guardians to form teams of three, such as an armored Sully, or the draconic mage Maleficent. Forty characters will be available to unlock at launch.
The mobile game will feature new story quests and limited event quests, updated every month, that tie into Disney and Pixar-themed worlds, characters, and stories.
Pre-registration is open now. IOS players will receive a golden Micky Mouse avatar for pre-registering. Android players will earn a Stellar Mirror avatar. From now until launch, players can unlock future rewards by hitting pre-registration milestones. Disney Mirrorverse will release on June 23.
