Apex Legends Season 8, Mayhem, begins February 8, and with it, a new Legend arrives. Watch the Stories from the Outlands “Good as Gold” trailer above.

New Legend and 80s action hero Fuse lost his arm to an explosive grenade, leaving him with a mechanical arm. His abilities haven’t been revealed yet, but safe to say he’ll probably be able to throw (or shoot) some explosives of his own.

Season 8 will also add a new gun, the 30-30 repeater, a lever-action rifle popular on Fuse’s home planet of Salvo.

Like previous seasons (and every Battle Royale game), Season 8 adds a new purchasable battle pass, featuring 100 digital goodies to earn, including Legendary skins, Holo-sprays, and more. Season 8 also adds a new ranked season to compete for.

Season 8 also teases a major chance to the Kings Canyon map. The only information we have is that it will be “dramatically reshaped.” Given the explosive theme, it’s probably not a pristine remodeling.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and coming to Switch later this year. Season 8 begins Feb. 8. Apex Legends is rated T for Teen.
