Ubisoft has released the latest epic open-world RPG in the long-running Assassin’s Creed series. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is available now on PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), PlayStation 4, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also releasing on PlayStation 5 as a launch title on November 12.

Valhalla stars Eivor, a legendary Viking warrior at the center of the war between Norway and England in ninth century AD. Eivor can be male or female and customized with different hair, tattoos, and more. New gameplay features include raids, settlement-building, and meaningful choices and decisions, including political alliances.

Free post-launch seasonal content will begin launching in December. New content will include a new settlement, new raid, and the festive Yule Festival.

Like previous Assassin Creed games, Valhalla will also include a paid season pass. The season pass will feature two expansions. Wrath of the Druids will release next spring, and The Siege of Paris will be available in Summer 2021. The Gold and Ultimate Editions include the season pass. An educational, combat-less Discovery Tour mode is also coming, similar to Origins and Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is available now. It’s rated M for Mature.
