It’s the season for gaming sales! No not that one, the other one. Besides that one. Look, it’s Halloween, and publishers aren’t passing up a chance for a seasonal sale. Across PC and consoles you’ll find digital deals focusing on survival, horror, and violent action games.

Switch

Nintendo has the weakest Halloween sale of all the big publishers, relying on a Warner Bros. Games sale that includes Mortal Kombat 11, Scriblenauts, and a bunch of LEGO games up to 75% off. Hades (a very good roguelite) and Alien: Isolation are also on sale, and a bit more thematic. You’ll also find yet another Ubisoft Publisher Sale ending October 31, with games like Just Dance 2020 and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

Seemingly in preparation for the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian, several older Star Wars games are also on sale right now, including Episode 1 Racer and Jedi Knight 1 and 2.

Most of the eShop sales end November 2.

PlayStation

The PlayStation store features a ton of spooky games on sale, like Darksiders Genesis, Days Gone, Death Stranding, and Devil May Cry 5 – and that’s just the D’s! The sale ends November 3.

Xbox

Microsoft’s Shocktober Sale is the only one with a cool name, but otherwise features many of the same games you’ll find elsewhere, including Alien: Isolation, DOOM, Resident Evil 3, and Dead by Daylight, with sales up to to 75% off. The Shocktober Sale ends November 2.

Steam

The Steam Halloween Sale includes the usual assortment of horror games, but also goes a bit further. By going into the Spooky Themes section, you can look at subgenres like demons, post-apocalyptic, Lovecraft, and vampires, showcasing the breadth of the genre.

The Steam sale also highlights other games with Halloween events or updates, like No Man’s Sky’s Halloween update, For Honor’s Monsters of the Overworld and Deep Rock Ghoul-actic.

The Steam Halloween Sale ends November 2.

GOG

If you prefer your PC games DRM-free, GOG is also running a Halloween sale with hundreds of games up to 91% off.

GOG is also hosting a streaming marathon on their official Twitch channel from now through November 4, showcasing many horror-themed games like Monster Prom 2, Sanitarium, and Iratus: Lord of the Dead.

The GOG Halloween sale ends November 2.

Epic Games Store

While Epic’s store features many of the usual suspects like Death Stranding, Hades, and Control, it also includes a bunch of games that have nothing to do with horror, like Red Dead Redemption 2, Civilization 6, and Borderlands 3. But hey, a sale’s a sale, right? Epic’s Halloween sale ends November 5.
