After a lengthy beta and Early Access period, Perfect World Entertainment and developer Echtra Games have released Torchlight 3 on Steam PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, for $39.99. It’s launching slightly later, Oct. 22, on Nintendo Switch.

“Torchlight 3 has arrived, and we at Echtra are beyond ecstatic for gamers to finally join the adventure,” said Max Schaefer, CEO of Echtra Games and co-founder of the Torchlight franchise. “Development on this game has had its share of twists and turns, but we think the end result was well worth the wait. A huge thank you to the fans who have patiently stayed with us through this journey. Your support means everything. Now go jump in and have fun exploring the Frontier!”

Torchlight 3 takes place a century after the last game, as the Netherim have returned to the world of Novastraia. Players can choose between four distinct classes: the spell-casting Dusk Mage, the robotic Forged, the rogueish Sharpshooter, and the track-laying Railmaster. Each hero can equip one of five powerful relics that grant additional abilities. And it wouldn’t be a Torchlight game without a cute pet that hauls all your loot around.

Torchlight 3 supports up to four player online multiplayer to explore the procedurally generated world and dungeons. Each player can customize their own personal Fort, where they can upgrade gear, unlock new relic abilities, and show off their decorating skills.

Torchlight 3 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It’s coming next week to Switch. It’s rated T for Teen.
