Daedalic Entertainment and developer Indoor Astronaut have announced that Unrailed will officially leave Steam Early Access and fully launch on September 23. Unrailed will also be available on Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Unrailed is a “co-op multiplayer railroad construction game,” according to the official description. The blocky game is designed for four players working together locally or online to guide a train through a series of randomly generated maps.

Each map is filled with obstacles, hazards, and local wildlife. You’ll need to gather resources to build more tracks, prevent overheating, and protect the train from danger.

The 1.0 launch will add a new biome – Mars. The red planet provides all new hazardous environments and challenges, including a lack of water, and a mysterious figure that shoots at your train.

Unrailed has been in early access since last year. In that time the developers have added new wagons, character models, a sandbox mode, and a single player mode. The single player includes AI bots that can be ordered around. Sandbox mode lets you play around with all the features you’ve unlocked, right from the beginning.

Unrailed will release on September 23 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. It’s available now via Steam Early Access.
