ARK: Genesis Part 1 is now available as part of the ARK: Genesis Season Pass for ARK: Survival Evolved, available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

ARK: Genesis provides a new story-focused survival-crafting experience, alongside the voiced AI companion bot HLN-A. HLN-A provides missions and tasks around the new simulation, including defeating enemies, competing in Dino Races, and rescuing baby creatures.

Genesis doesn’t limit itself to dinosaurs or mythologocial beasts, featuring a more sci-fi theme with astral whales, volcanic magmasaurs, and shape-shifting fur-balls that go from cute to deadly. New tools, weapons, vehicles, and structures are also available, such as mining drills, hover-skiffs, and jump pads.

The ARK Genesis Season Pass ($34.99) consists of two large expansions. Part 1 is available now, with Part 2 releasing later this year. Genesis is the fourth major expansion for survival-crafting game ARK: Survival Evolved, which originally launched on Steam Early Access in 2015. It supports both single player and shared multiplayer servers.

The base game of ARK: Survival Evolved is currently on sale for 80% off ($9.99) on all platforms.

ARK: Survival Evolved and the Genesis expansion are rated T for Teen.
