EA and Maxis have announced the latest expansion pack to The Sims 4. Get Famous adds a new acting career, including starring in blockbuster movies, livestreaming their lives, partying with celebrities, and living the VIP life. The Sims 4: Get Famous is coming to PC and Mac on November 16.

“With The Sims 4 Get Famous, players can achieve their wildest dreams of becoming a celebrity and all of the perks that come with fame in The Sims 4. From rubbing elbows with A-list celebrities at the studio, to star-studded VIP parties in the hills, Sims can now have it all,” said Grant Rodiek, Senior Producer. “The development team has added a slew of fun, humorous, and lavish new gameplay content to ensure that fans, and their Sims, can experience the luxury lifestyle as they play with life, this time in the spotlight.”

In addition the new acting career, Get Famous also adds an entirely new world, Del Sol Valley, a thinly-veiled microcosm of Southern California. Sims will have to start in the more modest area of Mirage Park before working their way up to the luxurious mansions in The Pinnacles, home to the rich and famous.

The Valley is home to many high-class clubs and parks, but a Sim will have to be someone to even get inside. Customize your sim and your home with new high-end accessories, fashion, and decorations, including gold-plated furniture.

EA has partnered with musician Baby Ariel to promote The Sims 4: Get Famous. The singer’s simified version can be found walking Starlight Boulevard and singing her hit music (in Simlish). A segment promoting Baby Ariel’s appearance in Get Famous will be shown on the NBC daytime show TODAY on October 11 at 7 am Pacific/10 am Eastern.

The Sims 4: Get Famous will launch on November 16 on PC and Mac. It’s rated T for Teen.
