Capcom’s Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Duel Destinies has just released for Android devices after a bit of a wait. The game first launched for 3DS in 2013 and came to iOS the following year, but now Android owners will get a chance to join in on the action.

As the fifth installment in the series, Duel Destinies sees Phoenix Wright sticking it out among plenty of legal turmoil. The story picks up after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney with Phoenix finally returning to the court after an eight years’ absence. He teams up with his young attorney Apollo and a new hire, Athena Cykes, to defend a series of cases. Tensions rise after a bomb is set off in the courtroom, injuring Apollo and badly damaging the building. As Athena begins to fall under suspicion, the team must hurry to locate the true culprit and put an end to this era of fear and violence.

Like previous games in the series, Duel Destinies is an interactive visual novel with a playful sense of humor. Players will spend much of the game examining crime scenes, conducting interviews, and questioning witnesses on the stand. Paying close attention to the evidence at hand is key to cracking each case and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Android users can purchase the game for $19.99 through Google Play here.
