BlizzCon, the annual conference put on by Blizzard Entertainment, will take place Nov. 4 and 5 in Anaheim, CA. BlizzCon is the place for fans of Blizzard to celebrate the games they love. Blizzard’s games include World of Warcraft, StarCraft, and most recently Overwatch.
The convention is a combination of speeches and panels by developers, chances for fans to play upcoming games, as well some of the biggest eSports finals for Blizzard’s games. And besides all of the official events, BlizzCon always has lots of fans showing their love for Blizzard’s games by dressing up in cosplay.
The full details of the game discussions and demos haven’t been announced yet, but the details about the eSports final have. This year’s BlizzCon will be home to the:
- StarCraft II Global Finals
- The Hearthstone World Championship
- The Heroes of the Storm Fall Championship
- World of Warcraft Arena World Championship
Tickets for BlizzCon will go on sale Wednesday April 20 at 7 p.m. Pacific Time. Cost for the tickets is $199 each. As tickets tend to sell out fast, you should mark your calendar. The official BlizzCon site also has a helpful step-by-step guide for buying tickets.
Besides the main event, Blizzard is holding a pre-show charity dinner the night before. Tickets for that dinner are $750 a person.
If you can’t make to either event or if a trip to Anaheim is simply too big for your pocket, you can purchase a virtual ticket, which will enable you to watch the event through a series of streams. Along with these tickets, you can purchase a separate goody bag. Prices for these tickets haven’t been announced yet.
