Final Fantasy IX, which originally came out over 15 years ago for the first PlayStation, is coming to PC and smartphones sometime in 2016. Well, in Japan at least. A Western release will likely follow, though we don’t have confirmation for it yet.

Square Enix, the company behind Final Fantasy, mentioned that high-definition graphics, new achievements, an auto-save function, high speed mode (also present in the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII), and more would be coming to the new release of the game.
