Yep, it’s true.
In the Wii U version of Skylanders SuperChargers, you’ll be able to play as Donkey Kong and Bowser. Nintendo is releasing all-new Hammer Slam Bowser and Turbo Charge Donkey Kong amiibos that you can use in Skylanders and Nintendo games.
These amiibos will have rotatable bases. You twist them one way to use the amiibos in Skylanders, and another for your Nintendo games.
And of course, since Skylanders SuperChargers is all about the vehicles, these amiibo will each have their own (the Barrel Blaster and the Clown Cruiser, respectively). You can also level them up because, just like Skylanders, they have their own powers and abilities.
Skylanders SuperChargers will be coming out on September 20 this year. You can get it for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and iOS.
