Season 3: Echoes of the Rebellion has arrived in online hero shooter Star Wars: Hunters, adding a Rebel Alliance theme with the new Battle Pass, including a new Hoth battle map, and a new Ewok character.

The new character is Pilbush, an Ewok Grenadier. She’s mounted atop a modified AT-ST, cheekily renamed AT-ET (All-Terrain Ewok Transport).

The damage-class Ewok wields a grenade launcher, and can leap and stomp with her vehicle. Her ultimate fires an explosive cluster bomb in a large area. I love everything about this character!

Like every new seasonal character, Pillbush is initially locked behind the premium tier of the seasonal battle pass (about $10).

Aran Tal, the Mandalorian premium character from Season 1, has officially been added to the Hunter’s Path. Players can unlock him by progressing along the free track and unlocking the other Hunters.

Season 3 is all about the Rebel Alliance, with new skins reflecting various Rebel uniforms. Pillbush even has a fabulous skin that transforms the top of her AT-ET into a mini X-Wing. Players can also begin unlocking emotes in addition to stickers. Each Hunter will come with one new default emote.

Hoth Frontline is the new battle map, pitting the Hunters in the middle of the classic battle from Empire Strikes Back, complete with AT-ATs and snowspeeders.

And for new players, you won’t have to wait as long to actually play with friends. The friends and parties feature will be unlocked after only three matches. The full patch notes can be found here.

Star Wars: Hunters is free-to-play on Switch and mobile devices. It’s rated T for Teen.
