Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is the direct sequel to 2016’s Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. It’s out today in stores and digitally on PC (Origin), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Battle for Neighborville is a third-person multiplayer shooter featuring 20 customizable plant and zombie classes. Six new classes appear in the sequel, including the fire-spewing Snapdragon and 80s Action Hero zombie. Each side also features a new team play character class: Oak and Acorn for the plants and Space Cadets for the zombies. A new 4v4 battle arena, Funderdome, brings the number of multiplayer modes to six.
Three new free-roam regions have been added beyond the titular town, including Mount Steep and the Weirding Woods. Players can also explore the social region of Giddy Park to use the social bard, ride amusement park rides, and practice on the test range.
Battle for Neighborville supports split-screen and online co-op in every multiplayer mode, including free-roam. In addition to the $39.99 Standard Edition, a Deluxe Edition includes legnedgary costumes and a digital comic for $49.99. Subscribers to EA Access and Origin Access can play up to 10 hours, along with a 10% discount. Premiere subscribers gain full access to the game.
