The latest update to hit PUBG Mobile adds a slew of new features, including an all new War Mode, which is a fancy way of referring to good old Deathmatch. The update is available now, and PUBG Mobile is available on iOS and Android devices.

War Mode is literally just old school deathmatch. It eliminates the Battle Royale aspect of last person standing. Instead everyone has infinite respawns, and the game ends when one team reaches 100 points. Points are earned by killing other players as well as reviving a downed teammate.

The July update also adds a full clan system. Players can create their own clans, including custom clan icons, and earn rewards by completing challenges. Clan information (as well as nationality) are now viewable on the title screen.

Achievements have also been added to PUBG Mobile. Unlocking achievements can net in-game items as rewards.

Finally the SLR rifle from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been added to PUBG Mobile. It features new grip and scope accessories.

PUBG Mobile has proven wildly successful since its launch, boasting over 10 million players. It launched earlier this year as a full-fledged mobile port to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. In both games, players parachute down onto an island with 100 other players. Everyone must scavenge for supplies and weapons while a dwindling circle keeps the action tense and localized.

PUBG Mobile is available on iOS and Android. It’s rated T for Teen.
