Solo indie developer, Millionhaire Studios, has released a new demo for upcoming cozy life sim, Wish Upon a Llama, as part of Steam Next Fest.

Wish Upon a Llama is a cozy farm and life sim that focuses on ranching and animal husbandry.

And human husbandry!

Because of the romance.

I’ve waited to make that joke for so long.

As the newest resident and rancher of Llama Town, players will rekindle the connection between the town and the local animals. Instead of planting crops, players will adopt, breed, and raise generations of animals. Then, fulfill adoption requests and adopt them out to the residents (As a nice touch, adopted animals can be seen with their families around town).

Aside from llamas, players can also raise rabbits, geese, pigs, capybara, and more. Over 50 unique breeds of animals exist, with different physical patterns, personalities, and inherited traits. Raising animals involves playing fetch and other mini-games, bathing them, walking them, and giving gifts.

Apparently Llama Town is also full of hot singles. The game features over 20 dateable characters, from ‘aspiring designer’ to ‘rugged handyman.’ I assume they’re all animal-lovers as well!

Wish Upon a Llama is the debut game from solo Canadian developer, Millionhare Studios, and published by Whitethorn Games.

The full game is due to release later this year.
