European-based publisher, THQ Nordic, hosted their annual showcase event. THQ Nordic Showcase 2026 gave updates and trailers on new and upcoming games, such as Titan Quest 2, Expeditions: Samurai, and The Eternal Life of Goldman. Plus, you can find many of the publisher’s games, including the recent Gothic 1 Remake, for sale on Steam.
Unfortunately, despite Darksiders 4 being in production (and a big reveal during last year’s showcase), we didn’t get any new updates or trailers on the beloved action-adventure series.
The biggest news surrounded Expeditions: Samurai, which launched into Steam Early Access. Expeditions: Samurai is the fourth game in the historical tactical-RPG series, which has players controlling an elite squad during pivotal moments in history. If you purchase before August 14, you can get the game for 34% off.
Titan Quest 2 is a highly anticipated action-RPG that launched last year in Early Access. The Showcase revealed the ghostly Spirit Mastery, a full skill tree, arriving in a new update.
Sadly, we still don’t have a full 1.0 release date for Titan Quest 2. It’s currently available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). In our Early Access review, we declared Titan Quest 2, “far from feature-complete, but plays well, and certainly feels like a proper Titan Quest sequel.”
One of THQ Nordic’s biggest games of the year, Reanimal, is getting new DLC, starting with The Prisoner.
The Prisoner stars two new co-op characters, The Soldier and The Prisoner, in a new horror story of survival in war-torn streets. The Prisoner is the first of three planned DLC expansions, all of which are included in the Season Pass, as well as sold separately.
The Prisoner is available now on PC, PlayStation, Switch 2, and Xbox, and the base game is currently on sale on Steam.
The Eternal Life of Goldman is a really slick-looking, retro-inspired platformer featuring beautiful hand-crafted art. It was announced two years ago, and we thought for sure we’d get a release date this year.
But not yet!
Platforms include PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox, including Game Pass.
Other news includes more karaoke with Let’s Sing 2027 and the return of Let’s Sing ABBA, plus updates to Gothic 1 Remake, and the original Gothic Trilogy arriving on PlayStation, Switch 2, and Xbox later this year.
The Gothic 1 Remake has been fairly successful; will we see remakes of the sequels? Not in this showcase, at least!
