Gameplay Group International and Paramount Games Studio, with Avatar Studios, have unlocked pre-orders for upcoming fighting game, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. Avatar Legends will release on July 23 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S ($29.99).

Physical editions, as well as the Switch 2 version, will release later this year.

Players who pre-order the game will receive access to the closed beta for Avatar Legends, which will run this weekend, July 2-5. Pre-orders can also participate in the vote for the next characters to join the roster later this summer.

The vote for the fifth additional character is between the following: Amon, Kuvira, Bumi, Asami, and Tenzin.

The fifth character will join the Year 1 Pass, which includes Bolin, Ty Lee, Lin Beifong, and Uncle Iroh.

The Year 1 Pass is included in the Deluxe Edition of Avatar Legends, alongside a digital art book, music soundtrack, and unique HUDS.

All pre-orders will also receive gold color costumes for Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, and Sokka, as well as the Samurai Appa support character skin.

Avatar Legends is a 1v1 2D fighting game featuring hand-drawn characters and animation inspired by beloved Nickelodeon shows, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The base game features 12 playable characters and several game modes, including a story campaign, training mode, spectator, and local and online versus multiplayer. The fighting game also supports cross platform multiplayer.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is rated E10+.
