Warner Bros. Games and Traveler’s Tales announced the Switch 2 release date for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Legacy of the Dark Knight will release on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 18, in Standard and Deluxe Editions.

September 18 also marks the release of the Mayhem Collection, the big post-launch story DLC featuring Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters. The Mayhem Collection is included in the Deluxe Edition ($89.99).

The Deluxe Edition also includes the Legacy Collection DLC, which features new suits and vehicles inspired by Batman: Arkham and Batman Beyond, as well as a free LEGO Retro Video Game Batman Minifig (physical version only!).

All pre-orders for the Switch 2 version will receive the Dark Knight Returns Batsuit. Players who create a Warner Bros. Games account (or have one already) can also unlock the Golden Age Batsuit. Linking with an HBO Max account also unlocks the Dark Knights of Steel and Black Lantern Batsuits.

Legacy of the Dark Knight is an action-adventure co-op LEGO game spanning the modern history of Batman. It tells an original story inspired by the big screen films, and Arkham video games, setting up the origin stories for Batman, and his allies, and his iconic enemies. Between story missions, players can also explore a fully open world Gotham City full of collectibles, puzzles, and criminals.
