After a fun mystery-tease on Discord, Two Point Studios announced Arty-Facts, the new DLC coming to Two Point Museum. Arty-Facts will add new art exhibits alongside a new museum campaign when it launches on May 7 on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation, and Xbox. The Switch 2 release will follow “as soon as possible.”
Arty-Facts is all about art, probably the most obvious new addition to Two Point Museum (yet it took three DLCs to get here!).
In the new museum campaign of Undee Docks, players will help Two Point County’s legendary artist Zara Fitzpocket transform an old port into a world-class art museum.
Players will need to collect, and commission, works of art using the new Art Experts, which come with new traits and emotions. By exploring Zara’s Sketchbook (the clever new expedition map), Art Experts can collect over 25 pieces of art to display in the museum, including Famous Works, Performance Art, and new Interactive Displays.
But Art Experts can also create the art themselves! By setting up an Art Studio, Experts can create new Original Art based on their traits, emotions, and the medium they’re working with. Original Art can affect guests with the same emotions that was poured into them. Art Experts can learn to channel new emotions by journeying through the Sketchbook expedition map.
The DLC also adds new items, decorations, and displays themed around art. I appreciate that “art” doesn’t just mean paintings, but also includes performances, including comedy shows, and a funny reference to infamous 80s music video, “Take On Me.”
Arty-Facts will launch on May 7 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, with Switch 2 to follow. Two Point Museum is one of our favorite sim games, and previous DLC expansions Fantasy Finds, and Zooseum, are excellent additions.
Two Point Museum is rated E for Everyone.
