Nintendo has revealed its Black Friday discounts and incentives on select Nintendo Switch titles, as well as in-store events. Black Friday deals are active now for physical retailers through November 29. Cyber Deals on the Nintendo eShop begin November 20 and run through December 3.
If you were hoping for a discount on the Nintendo Switch 2 — sorry, that’s way too new. The Switch 2 is still available for $449.99 by itself (including Joy-Con 2 and docking station), or as part of a bundle with Mario Kart World ($499.99).
Several slightly-older Switch games are slightly discounted for the Black Friday Sale:
Discounted to $39.99:
- Princess Peach: Showtime!
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
- Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Discounted to $29.99:
This is Nintendo, you weren’t expecting Steam-level discounts, right? Still, first-party Nintendo games are rarely on sale. If you’ve been meaning to pick up some older games, now’s a great time.
All of these games are compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Echoes of Wisdom, Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 3 all have free Nintendo Switch 2 updates that unlock higher resolutions and improved frame rates.
Select retailers are also featuring a $20 discount on Samsung MicroSD Express Cards, which expand the storage of the Switch 2. The new console comes with an internal storage of 256 GB.
For folks who enjoy physical shopping, several gaming retailers will feature in-store events, giving visitors a chance to play the Switch 2.
Between November 15 and December 13, Best Buy will host demos of Switch 2 games such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. Starting Dec. 6, GameStop will host Switch 2 demos, including Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. And at Walmart, lucky players can climb aboard the GameTruck as it tours select Walmart locations, from Nov. 15 – Dec. 13. See the schedule for the Walmart Holiday Tour.
