Games For Love, a nonprofit charity based in Washington, has announced the Winter For Love fundraising campaign. The campaign will support hospitalized children through virtual streaming. The season will culminate in a special Itch.io charity bundle, and a special two-day Game Gala during The Game Awards week in December.
Winter For Love will run from November through January 2026, and feature over 100 content creators. Streams will feature giveaways, sponsor integrations, and challenges for the audience.
On December 2, digital gaming store Itch.io will host the Giving Tuesday bundle. The bundle, which was originally the World Mental Health Day Bundle, includes over 100 games donated by developers. Every purchase goes to child life organizations such as Distraction Therapy, and Play Therapy.
On December 10-11, Games For Love will partner with Xsolla for The Game Gala. Located at the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles, CA, The Game Gala is a physical fundraising extravaganza, which includes industry leaders and developers. The gala will feature a Streamers Masquerade Ball with over 100 content creators and influencers, as well as a red-carpet-style watch party for The Game Awards on December 11.
Hopeful attendees can purchase a Networking Matchmaking Ticket for $199.99, or the VIP and Masquerade Ball for $1,500. Creators can earn a golden ticket for The Game Gala by raising at least $2,500 for charity. All proceeds go to Games for Love.
Games For Love partners with hospital and healthcare providers to provide gaming therapy for healing children around the world.
