Nonprofit charity Games For Love will feature a busy series of events during TwitchCon’s 10th Anniversary in San Diego, taking place October 17-19.

Games For Love will have a booth on the show floor, Booth #3255-CH. Attendees and Creators can take part in the Creator Challenge, play against charity founder, Nathan Blair, in VR golf, and leave messages on the Wall of Positivity for children in hospitals.

At the end of the weekend, attendees can compete for major prizes during the Ultra Mode Giveaway: Everything Spectacular Showdown. Prizes include consoles and gaming gear.

Games For Love is also hosting a “Pokémon-themed Team Rocket speakeasy.” I’m not sure what that means, but it’s only open on the first day for partners, then everyone else for the following two days.

Similar to Child’s Play, Games For Love is a nonprofit dedicated to helping children in hospitals through video gaming. Since 2018 they’ve helped over 3 million children across all 50 states, and nearly a dozen countries.

TwitchCon is the annual convention for creators and fans of streaming site, Twitch.tv. There’s a Drag Showcase hosted by beloved Twitch icons Trixie Mattel and Pearl Teese. Also, Community Panels and Meetups with streamers and creators, an Expo Floor, GDQx featuring speedruns from Games Done Quick, interactive workshops, artists, musical performances, and more.

Tickets for TwitchCon 2025 are still available. Three day passes are $249, with single day passes also available.
