Capcom has opened pre-orders for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, which launches on March 13, 2026 on Steam PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
Plus, a new pre-order trailer, and some lovely new artwork.
All pre-orders of Monster Hunter Stories 3 will receive the Skyscale Ratha Layered Armor (cosmetic armor) for Eleanor, a primary companion in the RPG, using the new Change Companion Outfits option (which Monster Hunter fans should be familiar with).
The new story trailer follows the mysterious Crystal Encroachment that threatens all monster habitats. The fully customizable protagonist joins forces with helpful companions, such as Ranger Captain Gaul, monster expert Ogden, and Rangers founder Kora. The story entwines two countries, and an ill-fated egg that holds twin Rathalos.
In addition to the Standard Edition ($69.99), Monster Hunter Stories 3 will be available in Deluxe Edition ($89.99), and a Premium Deluxe Edition ($99.99).
The Deluxe Edition includes the first post-launch DLC, Rudy’s Tale, launching Fall 2026, as well as a special outfit for companions, including Rudy.
The Premium Deluxe Edition contains everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus DLC with additional layered armor and other cosmetic sets.
Monster Hunter Stories is a creature collector spin-off series where players tame monsters from the main series, and use them to battle other monsters. It originally began on the Nintendo 3DS in 2017. The original Monster Hunter Stories, and the sequel, Wings of Ruin, are available on Steam, PlayStation, and Switch at a discounted price. Both RPGs are also arriving on Xbox on November 14.
