Games Done Quick is premiering a new speedrunning event this weekend with Games Done Queer. Games Done Queer will feature dozens of speedruns from the LGBTQ+ community while raising funds for the Lambda Legal and Education Fund.

Games Done Queer streams online this weekend, October 31 – November 2 via the Games Done Quick Twitch channel.

The first-ever marathon event will feature over 30 speedruns throughout the weekend, including Deltarune, Untitled Goose Game, and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. The event will highlight LBGTQ+ speedrunners.

The marathon kicks off at 9:30am Pacific/12:30pm Eastern on Friday, with the first speedrun, Diddy Kong Racing, at 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern. See the full schedule here.

Games Done Queer will be raising money for the Lambda Legal and Education Fund, the nation’s oldest legal organization dedicated to supporting the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people.

The most recent marathon event from GDQ was Flame Fatales 2025, the all-women speedrunning event, which raised over $150,000 for the Malala Fund. As always, the full archive of speedruns can be found at the Games Done Quick YouTube channel.

Over the years, Games Done Quick has raised over $50 million for charity organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Registration for Games Done Quick’s next big marathon speedrunning event, Awesome Games Done Quick 2026, is still open. Awesome Games Done Quick will take place in Pittsburgh, PA, January 4-10, 2026.
