It’s one of the busiest weeks and weekends of the year. Not only did a little company called Nintendo launch a new console, but today marks the official start of Summer Game Fest, an annual live streamed showcase that promises world premiere trailers, developer interviews, and big announcements.

Summer Game Fest will air later today, June 6, at 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern from the Los Angeles theater, hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Summer Game Fest also encompasses an entire series of showcases throughout the weekend, including indie organizations such as Wholesome Direct, Women-Led Games, and the new Southeast Asian Games Showcase.

Major publishers are also a part of Summer Game Fest, including Sony, which streamed their State of Play showcase earlier this week. The IOI Showcase on June 6 will dive deeper into the newly announced 007: First Light action game from the State of Play.

You’ll especially want to clear your schedule on Sunday, June 8 for the Xbox Games Showcase, followed by The Outer Worlds 2 Direct, starting at 1am Pacific/1pm Eastern. Then it’s time for the PC Gaming Show, featuring over 15 new reveals, at 12pm Pacific/3pm Eastern.

See the Summer Game Fest event page for the full schedule of gaming showcases.

PC players can check out the Summer Game Fest 2025 Steam page to wishlist highlighted titles and pounce on any new discounts.
