Two weeks after the big Alice in Wonderland update, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can finally unlock the Cheshire Cat. Plus, players can earn special rewards by participating in the Cheshire Cat Chaos Event, from now through May 20.

First, you’ll need to unlock the Alice in Wonderland realm, which costs 15,000 Dreamlight. Complete all the main quests and add Alice to your Valley.

Then, head inside Scrooge’s Store to trigger the Scrooge quest, Mannequin Madness.

The next Cheshire Cat quest is located in Remy’s Restaurant. Talk to Remy, cook the new recipe, and complete the quest to unlock Cat Tree Catastrophe from Alice. This final quest will involve fishing, and require Moana’s help.

The quest ends with finally placing the Cheshire Cat’s Tree, and welcoming the sneaky rascal to the Valley.

The Cheshire Cat must be pretty special, as his delayed arrival comes with a new limited-time event, Cheshire Cat Chaos.

During the event, players can find “Cheshire Cracks” throughout the Valley. These areas can be dug to reveal precious Memory Shards, which will complete a new Memory. One will appear every 15 minutes, with a maximum of five at any one time.

The Cheshire Cat Chaos is also spilling into Dreamlight Realms in the form of mystical paw prints. Paw prints will spawn on a Realm door. Inside, you’ll find paw prints every 10 minutes, with a maximum of five. Remove 20 by using the watering can to claim the event rewards, which include new Alice in Wonderland-themed furniture.

New paw print Realms will open up on May 11, and again on May 15. The possible realms include: Toy Story, Lion King, and Aladdin. Players must have unlocked the requisite characters (and thus completed the Realms) in order to cleanse that Realm’s paw prints. Players do not have to unlock Cheshire Cat to participate in the event.

The Cheshire Cat Chaos Event ends May 20.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PC, PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and rated E for Everyone.
