The next major content update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, Wonderland Whimsy, has arrived. Wonderland Whimsy adds the new Alice in Wonderland Realm, along with two new characters, though one of them is a bit trickier to unlock.
Starting today, players can journey to the Wonderland Realm from the Dreamlight Castle. By following the White Rabbit and exploring the realm, Alice can officially join the Valley.
The Cheshire Cat is also in the Wonderland Realm, but unlocking him is a little different. The mischievous cat will cause various disturbances throughout the Valley “in the weeks following the update.”
After May 7, players can finally complete all of the Cheshire Cat’s welcoming quests, and add him to the Valley.
The Cheshire Cat has a unique reward from progressing his Friendship Quests: the Uncrafting Station! For the first time, players can break down previously crafted items back into the materials, for a small Dreamlight cost. Hugely useful for some of those pesky Star Path duties!
Speaking of Star Path, the new Garden of Whimsy Star Path is obviously themed around Alice in Wonderland styles and objects, including teapot homes and fountains. Plus, new Spring dresses for Minnie and Daisy.
As previously teased, players can also add unique Star Wars outfits, as well as an R2-D2 companion, in the Premium Shop.
But the best news of all? The update adds a ton of bug fixes, including the missing Scrooge signs, which has been vexing me since the last update! See the full patch notes here.
