ARK: Survival Ascended is getting its first spring seasonal event with the return of Eggcellent Adventure. The seasonal event adds new cosmetics, special creatures, colorful dinosaurs, and eggs for painting and crafting. It’s live now through April 30.
During the event, special Bunny Dodos and Buny Oviraptors will drop Bunny Eggs across the island. By collecting the eggs, players can craft unique cosmetic items, such as a Flower Wreath, Shepherd’s Crook, and Lamb Costume. Returning cosmetics include the Bunny Costume, Chocolate Rabbit skin, and Dino Easter Egg Hat.
Eggs can also be painted and displayed, becoming their own Spring-themed cosmetic.
Oh, and wild dinosaurs will spawn in a variety of bright and pastel colors.
The seasonal event also boosts harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding levels by 2 – 5x depending on the server. This weekend will boost rates even further. See the official forum post for details.
To start the seasonal event in single player, you’ll need to search for it in the ARK in-game Mod list and install it, then activate it within Mod Settings.
ARK: Survival Ascended is the HD remaster of popular dino-themed survival game, ARK: Survival Evolved. Survival Ascended remains in Early Access since its initial launch in 2023. It’s available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and rated T for Teen.
