Over on the Disney Dreamlight Valley subreddit, a fan (MoistSloth92) posted a series of pictures highlighting all the Disney characters in the ongoing life sim. The pictures reveal the large number of characters added through updates over the years, up to and including this week’s Tales of Agrabah update.
The popular life sim included over a dozen Disney characters when it first launched via Early Access in 2022. All the Mickey Toontown characters (save Daisy), plus characters from The Little Mermaid, Moana, Frozen, and my personal ride-or-die, Wall-E.
The next several updates added Toy Story, Stitch, The Lion King, Mirabel, Beauty and the Beast, Vanellope (and Dreamsnaps), and all the newcomers from the Rift in Time expansion.
By the end of 2023, around the 1.0 launch, the roster had already doubled.
Last year then added Tiana (and her restaurant), Daisy (and her boutique), as well as Monsters Inc, Mulan, and the first half of the second big expansion, The Storybook Vale.
This year already added Aladdin and Jasmine. Still to come are the previously teased Alice in Wonderland update, and presumably Peter Pan with the mysterious Skull Rock. Plus, the second half of Storybook Vale, which will add Maleficent to the Valley.
The “2025 and Beyond” picture also depicts Aurora, Cinderella, and Ralph, though those may just be wishful thinking (I would give anything for Captain Hook, personally).
In any case, Dreamlight Valley isn’t slowing down any time soon, and there are plenty of spaces in the Dream Castle for more Realm doors and expansions!
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.
