The Sims 25th anniversary kicks off its next celebration with a new limited-time event for The Sims 4. The Sims 4 Blast from the Past event is available now by playing Live Mode.
In Live Mode, players can complete quests and goals to earn even points, and use points to claim rewards. Players need to login to their EA account to participate.
Each week will feature two new quests, over the course of four weeks. The event will last an additional two weeks (for a total of six weeks), allowing more time to complete all the quests.
Rewards are inspired by the original The Sims (you know, the one that’s actually 25 years old!). Reward items include the Fun-Fun Inflatable Chair, Get Up! Alarm Clock, the Surprise Birthday Cake, and Dina Caliente’s signature little black dress.
In case you missed, it, Maxis and EA are hosting a 25-hour livestream celebrating the series, which should be ending in the next few hours!
The Sims 4 also received an update that adds over 70 new items.
For even more nostalgia, The Sims and The Sims 2 were recently re-released as Legacy Collections, including a discounted 25th Birthday Bundle.
The Blast from the Past event ends March 18.
