One of our favorite online shooters is coming to PC! Star Wars: Hunters is rolling out several playtests for the Steam version over the next several weeks, before Early Access launch on January 28.

I’m not sure why it’s launching in Early Access, when the game’s been out for months on Switch and mobile platforms. But hey, the PC version will feature cross platform progression and cross play!

To sign up, simply click on the Steam page and click the Request Access button.

The playtests are scheduled for the following dates:

  • First playtest: December 13-16
  • Second playtest: January 10-13, 2025

The PC news arrives alongside Season 4, which adds a new hunter, more limited-time events, a new map, and a new Arena Pass to Star Wars: Hunters.

New hunter, Nox, is a Zabrak (like Darth Maul) who wields a composite bow, and uses her agility and marksmanship to take down foes. Nox is available exclusively on the premium tier of the Arena Pass.

Season Two’s hunter, K-A0S, has officially been added to the free-play Hunter’s Path progression.

The new map is Endor Aftermath, and it’s inspired by the Imperial base from Return of the Jedi.

The new game mode is Scrap Salvage, where defeated opponents drop scrap that must be turned in to Deposit Points to score points. Scrap Salvage is currently featured in the Feast of Prosperty Limited Time Event.

Star Wars: Hunters is free-to-play on Switch and mobile platforms (and soon, PC). It’s rated T for Teen.
