Nintendo has officially joined the exhibitors for PAX West 2024, alongside Capcom’s exciting lineup which includes Monster Hunter Wilds. PAX West 2024 celebrates the gaming convention’s 20th anniversary this Labor Day weekend from Aug. 30 through Sept. 2 in Seattle, WA.
Capcom will bring the first playable demo for highly anticipated action game Monster Hunter Wilds, releasing early 2025. Additionally, attendees can play with the new Dead Rising Remaster and test out the newest character to Street Fighter 6, Terry Bogard. The PAX Arena will also host a Street Fighter 6 tournament.
There’s no mention of what Nintendo is bringing to the convention, but The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is just around the corner, releasing Sept. 26.
“We’re here to celebrate where it all started, twenty years ago,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade and PAX. “Technically it started just east of here, in Bellevue. But that doesn’t make for as good a quote.”
The full schedule is available, starting Friday morning with the opening keynote speech by Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming.
PAX West, crowned the largest gaming convention on the West Coast, features four days of expert panels, developer showcases, free play zones, official tournaments, and a gigantic expo hall with AAA and indie developers. Other exhibitors joining Nintendo and Capcom at PAX West include Bandai Namco, Larian Studios, Final Fantasy XIV, Finji, and Wholesome Games.
Tickets are still available, though running low. A full four-day badge will set you back $250. Single-day badges are available for $66.
