Disney Dreamlight Valley is getting a new update this week. The Laugh Floor Update unlocks another realm in the valley, taking players into the world of Monsters, Inc, along with its two most famous residents.
By stepping into the newly unlocked door, players can visit The Laugh Floor factory of Monsters, Inc, and interact with Sully and Mike Wazowski. Players can earn new items by completing their Friendship Quests and officially adding them to the valley.
Veteran and future players will also receive a bonus gift when the update goes live on February 28: The Partners statue, and Dreamlight Armor outfit. Both gifts will arrive in the in-game mailbox.
The update also adds a new optional Star Path, themed around Monsters, Inc.
Other additions include new customization options for avatars (including name change), expanded offers in Scrooge’s Shop, and new weekly DreamSnaps challenges.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is the Disney-themed life management sim. Like Animal Crossing, players customize their home and their avatar while building up their personal valley. By entering magical doors they can visit other Disney worlds and befriend those characters — including some villains.
To celebrate the update, the Steam version of Disney Dreamlight Valley is 25% off through February 29.
Dreamlight Valley is also available on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store. It’s rated E for Everyone.
