Tactical RPG Unicorn Overlord is launching March 8, and Atlus and Vanillaware have detailed the special Monarch Edition, which is available for pre-order on PlayStation 5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S ($129.99).

A Standard edition is also available ($59.99).

The hefty Monarch Edition includes a 132-page artbook, a two-disc soundtrack with 16-bit arranged music, a 239-card game for 2-4 players, and special Outer Box packaging. It also includes a voucher for the Atlus x Vanillaware Heraldry Pack DLC.

The Heraldry Pack unlocks custom emblem designs for the player’s army based on previous Vanillaware games, Odin Sphere, Dragon’s Crown, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

The Unicorn Overlord card game is a card drafting and deckbuilding game featuring the Unicorn Overlord world and units. Players purchase units, items, and territories each round to earn the most renown. Check out the handy tutorial video above.

Both the Standard and Monarch editions include the Coat of ARms Deco Elements as a pre-order bonus.

Unicorn Overlord is a strategy RPG inspired by Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle, and Final Fantasy Tactics, with Vanillaware’s striking anime style. It’s set in an original fantasy world, as exiled Prince Alain gathers forces and builds an army to reclaim his kingdom.

It’s rated T for Teen.
