Launching alongside Pikmin 4 on Nintendo Switch is a new event for Pikmin Bloom, a free-to-download, augmented reality mobile game, available on iOS and Android mobile devices. Earn the new Spaceship Decor Pikmin by completing the new event challenge, running through August 13.

Pikmin Bloom is a walking app that tracks your steps. By exploring your town and neighborhood, you can discover Pikmin seedlings and rare fruit. Seedlings turn into Pikmin, while giving them fruit can increase their friendship. Friendly Pikmin can turn into special Decor Pikmin. Over 150 types of Decor Pikmin can be unlocked, most with super adorable little hats.

You can earn gold seedlings by completing the current event challenge. Each gold seedling can grow into one of seven types of Spaceship Decor Pikmin. Inviting friends to play Pikmin Bloom will net you an instant gold seedling.

The Spaceship Decor event will end August 13.

Fans who complete the Pikmin 4 demo on the Nintendo eShop (or play the full game version) can earn the Oatchi-Rider Costume for their avatar in Pikmin Bloom.

Pikmin 4 is a 3D adventure game where a stranded astronaut uses cute little flower creatures (and a new ridable dog) to solve puzzles, defeat monsters, and rebuild their ship.

Pikmin 4 is available on Nintendo Switch, and rated E10+ with comic mischief and fantasy violence. Pikmin Bloom is on mobile devices and rated E for Everyone.
