Frontier Developments has announced new DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2. The Late Cretaceous Pack is launching this Thursday, September 15, on PC (Steam, EGS, Windows), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S ($7.99).

The Late Cretaceous Pack adds four new dinosaur species from the Cretaceous era.

Barbaridactylus is a flying reptile with a large crest on its head.

Alamosaurus is a huge sauropod. You’d think size alone would deter predators, but it also features defensive spines.

Australovenator is a raptor-like carnivore built for speed and destruction.

Syxosaurus is a new marine reptile with large fins, long neck, and bioluminescent colors.

The Late Cretaceous Pack will launch alongside another free update. Update 4 enhances flying and marine reptiles’ behavior. Escaped flying reptiles can attack capture helicopters, while unhappy marine reptiles will damage their lagoon enclosures and could injure themselves. Lagoons also get a big update, with new customization options added.

More options are being added to Sandbox Mode, including dinosaur traits and gene editing, and instant construction settings.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. It’s rated T for Teen.
