Indie developer Robot Entertainment announced Orcs Must Die 3, coming to Steam PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, on July 23, 2021.

The latest in the cartoonish tower defense series features more everything — more orc types, more traps, more weapons, and more upgrades.

Like the previous game, Orcs Must Die 3 supports solo and two player co-op as you build traps and wield weapons to defend against waves of incoming hordes of orcs.

New War Scenarios feature huge armies of orcs sieging the castles, requiring the heroes to move out and thin the horde before they can reach the castle walls. To aid in these gigantic battles are new war machines, humongous traps that can demolish dozens of orcs at once.

The campaign story is set 20 years after Orcs Must Die 2, as the heroes of the last game, the War Mage and the Sorceress are training  the next generation of defenders. In addition to the campaign, you can play ranked weekly challenges, an endless mode, and a new scramble mode, which features orcs who evolve with nastier abilities.

Orcs Must Die 3 originally launched in 2020 as a Stadia exclusive. It’s coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles in July. It’s rated T for Teen.
