The second half of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, the Crown Tundra, is now available on Nintendo Switch.

The Crown Tundra adds a new snowy region. You’ve been tasked with investigating this frozen land, including deep within a pokémon den. You’ll work with a former Galar gym leader, Peony, and learn about the mysterious legendary pokémon Calyrex. The tundra is home to several legendary pokémon, including Galarian variants of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.

In the pokémon den, you’ll be able to engage in new Dynamax Adventures, which are like expanded Max Raid Battles with multiple battles and branching paths.

The Expansion Pass, which also includes the Isle of Armor, is available for $29.99. There is a separate Expansion Pass for Sword and Shield that includes unique pokémon.

If you haven’t yet picked up Pokémon Sword and Shield, Nintendo is offering a bundle pack that includes the expansion pass with either game. In addition, you’ll receive a Mystery Gift bonus that includes one hundred poké balls, and special Pikachu and Eevee uniforms. The bundle will be available as a physical cartridge (with expansion pass download code) beginning November 6, for $89.99.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are rated E for Everyone.
