Capcom is hosting two seasonal holiday events this year, one for Monster Hunter: World, and one for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Owners of the Iceborne expansion can join in on both events.

The Iceborne event is the Asian-themed Holiday Joy Fest, and it’s currently ongoing in the new hub town of Seliana, until January 5, 2020.

During the Holiday Joy Fest event, hunters will be able to earn double the number of daily vouchers, as well as earn Winter Star Tickets and Joyful Tickets through completing bounties. Over two dozen limited-time event quests for both Low/High Rank and the new Master Rank will be available, including previous year quests and overlapping events, such as the Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration.

The event will also feature special layered armor, crafted from rewards from the seasonal events, as well as the Oolong armor set, which includes a new bonus skill that grants an increased chance to get VIP Joyful Tickets, to craft special armor and charms. You can also craft new handler and poogie outfits.

See here for details on all the new event quests.

Back in the base game’s town of Asteria, they are celebrating the Christmas-themed Winter Star Fest event. The Winter Star Fest event features all the Low and High Rank limited-time event quests, and the chance to craft the Orion armor set using Winter Star Tickets, as well as the Felyne Snowcat Palico Armor and Bristly Pincushion hammer.

Both seasonal events run until January 5, 2020. Monster Hunter: World is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while Iceborne is available on PS4 and XBO, and arriving on PC on January 9, 2020. It’s rated T for Teen.
