Minecraft Dungeons is a co-op action-RPG set within the voxel Minecraft universe. It’s coming next year for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.

Minecraft Dungeons is inspired by classic dungeon crawlers. Up to four players (local and online) can battle through blocky, treasure-filled and monster-filled swamps, canyons, mines, and dungeons on a quest to save the villagers and take down the Arch-Illager.

Minecraft Dungeons is the first Minecraft game developed by Mojang since the original global phenomenon. Mojang, which is owned by Microsoft, recently partnered with developer and publisher Double Eleven to help bring the action-RPG to consoles and improve the online and multiplayer component.

“We’re thrilled to have found a partner that shares our passion for creating great games, and we’re looking forward to working closely with Double Eleven to bring Minecraft Dungeons to a wide range of platforms,” said David Nisshagen, Executive Producer, Mojang. “We’re excited to watch our passion project continue to grow, and Double Eleven’s expertise and dedication will help us create a high-quality experience for our community.”

Minecraft Dungeons is rated E10+ for Fantasy Violence. It’s coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One in 2020. It’s also coming to Xbox Game Pass.
