There’s nary a dinosaur in sight in ARK: Survival Evolved’s next DLC expansion. Studio Wildcard announced the next content for survival-crafting multiplayer game ARK: Survival Evolved. It’s called ARK: Genesis, and it’s being sold as a season pass for $34.99.

ARK: Genesis will roll out in two content packs coming December 2019 and the following year in Winter 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Part 1 and Part 2 of ARK: Genesis will be full expansion packs with new biomes, crafting gear, structures, and unique new creatures, such as island-sized sea turtles, shape-shifting fur-balls, and flame-spewing dragons. Genesis will also feature a story-line with new mission-based gameplay and a holographic companion.

Purchasing the ARK: Genesis Season Pass also grants immediate access to a cosmetic pet, HLN-A, for ARK: Survival Evolved.

As part of the announcement, the base game of ARK: Survival Evolved is currently on sale on PC (Steam) for $17.49 (65% off). The sale lasts through August 15.

ARK: Survival Evolved originally launched in 2017 and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and mobile devices. ARK: Genesis is coming to the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions, beginning with Part 1 in December.

ARK and all its expansions are rated T for Teen for Blood, Crude Humor, Alcohol, and Violence.
