During the EA Play 2018 Press Conference, Electronic Arts and BioWare announced an official release date for their upcoming Destiny-like cooperative action game Anthem. Unfortunately it’s not coming this year. Barring any delays, Anthem is set to launch on Feb. 22, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Origin).

Anthem supports up to four players exploring and battling within their custom Javelin exosuits (think Ironman). These special suits turn players into superheroes with a powerful array of weapons and abilities. Players can also customize their suits with unique paint jobs and gear.

The game will also feature BioWare’s signature storytelling, though I’m guessing there aren’t any character-heavy romances to be found here.

Pre-orders for Anthem are available now. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition nets VIP demo access, Founders banner, a legendary weapon, and the Legion of Dawn Armor Pack. The Legion of Dawn Edition includes more in-game goodies as well as the digital soundtrack.

Anthem will be out Feb. 22, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Origin Access and EA Access members can start playing as early as Feb. 15.
