Bandai Namco announced today that a sequel to the fast-paced and crazy Pac-Man Championship Edition will be coming this fall. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will feature the same super challenging gameplay with some new modes to boot.

According to an official announcement from the company, the new game will “build upon” the chain eating mechanic of the first game. Players will now be able to form four ghost trains. There will also be a new Adventure mode and a Score Attack Mode. But perhaps the biggest addition is that of a giant ghost who will wreak havoc on your chains.

If you’ve never played Pac-Man Championship Edition, you might think it’s like the old school Pac-Man games. While it does have the core mechanic of chomping up pellets and eating ghosts, the game play takes place at a mind-boggling speed and you can string up a bunch of ghosts together so that when you hit that power pellet, you’ve got a ton of ghosts to gobble down right behind you. I haven’t been brave enough to try out the game myself, but watching my husband play makes my thumbs and brain hurt.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in September.
